...bump...

I'd like to know this too.

The documentation is only a *little* better than the Blitz Max documentation.

The documentation for Blitz Max is poorly lacking. There's a Wiki forming, but shouldn't it be the responsibility of the language creators to provide documentation for their own product?

The documentation for Dark SDK is lacking examples, but at least there's a description available for all of the functions. Not so with Blitz Max. The documentation for Blitz Max is mostly just function prototypes.

Hmm...

There's nothing in the documentation about a dbSetNetConnectionS...
I haven't tried it yet, but I'll give it a go tomorrow.

First of all check what connections are available by using "dbPerformChecklistForNetConnections". Run through the checklist and check the contents. Once you know the indices for the connection use "dbSetNetConnections" and pass in the index you are looking for. For example, index 2 may be tcp/ip so pass in 2 if you want to use this. Then pass in the ip address you want to connect to.

When the connection has been set you can then move on and perform a search for net games using "dbPerformChecklistForNetSessions". Again check the checklist to find the contents.

Once a game has been found use "dbJoinNetGame" to join the specified session number.

Jimmy, Ive stopped using the db net commands, and am now using raknet. Its probably the best networking api out there.
