I posted a tutorial for gamers on a budget that want to make basic game meshes in the .X format. You can find it on my DoGA CGA support page. It provides a basic walk-though for DoGA and Meta including design, vert tweaking and merging, and texturing.

nice, someones got something on the first ever 3D app I touched that came with Dark Basic classic, cool, man I loved making tank/sci-fi scenes with that thing

Yeah, I've bigger and badder toys, but I still find myself coming back to DoGA CGA L3 and Metsequoia LE. With a little creativity and understanding you can still do quite a few things with them. For me, they're also the most productive tools in my inventory.
