Ok i made a level and went and pressed save as so i could work on it later and i come back to it now and its saved as a .zip when i opened it in WinRAR there we files in there here they are:
map.fpmo
map.fpmb
map.fpml
map.ele
map.ent
map.seg
map.dat
map.way

and they are all password protected
can anyone help me and what the hell is up with it

Never heard that one before.......somethings radically amiss there it seems.

Does it do this every time?

The files you have quoted do not belong in the same location as your saved map (level) files which have the extension of .fpm amd are located or should be located in the mapbank folder.

i found the problem i put a . in it so lets say "gamev1.1" the point messed it up. but why?

This happened to me a few times. Its extremely easy to fix. Just right click on the zip and remame it so it has .fps on the end instead of .zip it then works fine again. (But just in case, make a backup of the zip!)
