I call DIBS...

Okay, select none.gif from the drop down menu...

send me the JPG or GIF.

I will host it, (because I have nothing better to do)
I will post a link to the file, and you just put that link in the AVATAR url section.

Photoshop or Paint >_>
Easy.

If you have a goal, work on it until you fall to the ground.

Or, (not to put down Merranvo's hosting, which I am sure is great ) you could attach the image to a post (such as in this thread), and copy the location of the 'view' link at the bottom of your post into the 'Your own Avatar' box.

I don't think the mods would be too happy if you did that. That space is usually reserved for screenshots, programs, and the like. I could be wrong about that, though.

Well, if it isn't animated, a GIF image would only take up 1 to 3 KB, so there probably wouldn't be much of a problem.

You need to save it as .gif or .jpg or .png. Not .bmp

Open it in paint and then save. Select .gif or .jpg from the drop down save type menu.
