I made a short animation starring my newly modelled lego guy! Comments welcome. And yes....it was made in blender.

Am I an Idiot...or is everyone else just really smart?

I thought it was preety cool I just think you should add some detail to bottom of the legos. The lego character is perfect though.

Whoops thank you for catching that. I'm not a big lego person myself so I probably lost some detail. Heh..we posted at almost the exact same time :p

nice one
maybe you might want to change the model's settings so that the edges (forexample on the head or on the 'round things' on the bricks) dont show so much. just click the 'set smooth' button next to the vertexgroups buttons in the 'links and materials' menu
again: nice model and funny idea ^^

The most I've ever loaded into DB is a textured static model from blender. It may be possible to get animation but I never had good results importing most anything into DB. Blender's export may have improved since I last tried but I'm not sure.

About the edges, its kinda odd because they are set to smooth I think the edges on the head have somethign to with the texture cuz I had to do something sorta weird to get the face to show properly.

Cool. Have you heard of MLCad? It is a very good lego modeling program. http://www.ldraw.org/ These people have nearly every lego part ever created. They even have a minifig generator! You can convert the lego files using this tool I posted:http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=60294&b=2 Only disadvantage is getting textures for the models.
