Can you make a lift work like a dropship or a vehicle with somebody else driving it so you can operate a turret or something. That would be cool. Maybe something like killzone 2.(look at the pic)

well..if you make it move up..all you have to do is change it to do x instead of y.....(or maybe x and y, in which you would use the original code, and then apply the changed code

Of course achieving things like this brings up various issues - there are more than one.

Yesterday I posted a feature request in the BETA Forum for an attach entity capability which would be useful in many situations.

What you could do in programming is make the lift (Dropship) follow a series of waypoints, To make it move any path you want. But that requires a good programmer the lift model and texture. It becomes even harder if you want a turret. But one way to do it is by giving you a big gun (requiers model+texture) make your movement zero give you infinity or much ammo.

Yeah I was thinking that you could make it follow waypoints. But wasn't really sure. If I can make it work, I can make it an alternative to driving vehicles. And another question, would it work with jeeps or cars? That would be cool
