when the version 1 comes out lee mentioned that we early adopter
users can download, are just pay shipping charges.

my problem is since i bought the ea version when it first came out.
my email address has changed and in that process i have lost my serial number. which i believe i need to just pay the shipping.

can lee are someone let me know if there is away they can check and send me my serial number?

there should be some way to confirm my purchase.

thank you

you can change your email with a little known link in user profile... it is at the very bottom...

What I think they will do is send the V1 version to every EA email adres they stored back then. So changing your emailadres in your profile wouldn't cover that problem I guess.
