Cheers

The white parts supposed to be transparent but i haven't figured out how to do render properly, but it does show on dbp . But yeah im trying to improve the hair but im still recovering after making the hair more or less seamless... man thats a pain.

Anyhoo i've finished the basics of the arms, legs and body, just need to model in the clothing, UV it and texture it. Polycount is at 2788

edit: meant it is transparent in dbp just not the render

nor would I, most female models like too much sex, and expect you to constantly buy stuff, and only like you because you got money.....

oh wait...wrong kind model

things to fix;

i'm guessing you're going for a cartoonish look, but i'd make the mouth and nose thinner, they're too big at the moment, also, bring the nose closer to her face and tilt it up a bit.

the body;
the arse is sticking out too far behind, it looks like she's about to fall over. i'd grap the verts of her legs and arse, and bring them further forward, so they're under her shoulders

otherwise, its a very good model, you could make the butt more shapely by tweaking some polys closer together to make a nice butt crack, but i'd be pretty chuffed if i were you.

oh, and "that's great posts" are nice, but useless

thats a pretty nice flow, but you need to actually attach the bits together to make one object, the legs, torso and feet are all seperate, which is all going to go to make your life difficult.

its nice to see a female model without the massive tits, so i think well done on the proportions mainly. If you want to have a look at some real people head here

http://www.anything3d.com/model-portfolio_session/index.php3?ShowOnly=f&cell=1&no_style=&MODELSESSION=1269366880da494836003d3690dda26b#top

i think the texture looks a bit muddy, what method are you using, hand picked colour, gradient ramp, or intensity mapping? (looks like intensity mapping) I'd increase the map size you use while working on it, and then shrink it down when you're done

The only seperate objects are the head, skirt and feet which im gonna attach later

um think I used all those texture techniques.. i'm a noob at texturing really. The size atm is 2048x2048, any higher and my computer starts to have a fit with all the layers i use . Its muddy because im bad at texturing, isn't finished yet, a 100 or so more layers and it should be ok

ty for the website, its pretty awesome, though i have more trouble with making and texturing clothes than anything else.

i'd say he interpreted from a tutorial.

Chenak: my advice for texturing using intensity maps is this;

1.Use a 1024x1024 map, it doesn't need to be bigger
2.Have your unwrapped wire frame as the bottom layer
3.make a black flood fill new layer
4.make a new layer and flood fill it grey (not the automatic way) set it to overlay blending
5.make a final layer for colour set it to overlay as well
6.choose a colour for the skin tone, and anything else, and paint the colour onto the colour layer (you'll need to play around with this, as it'll be in overlay mode, you might also want to tweak the opacity of the colour layer)
7.you can now show or hide the black layer to toggle the wireframe.
8.use the dodge and burn tools on the grey layer to add detail.

your layer pallete should be in this order;

colour
value (the grey layer)
blackout (the black layer)
background (your wireframe)

you can also add a highlight layer at the top, and use the soft light blending mode and use white to draw attention and black to push it away.

have a look at this tutorial;

Looks okay to me. It's good that not every female model people make looks like a pr0n star, or else it'd get boring. It's a nice change of pace.

Have you considered raising the cheekbones very sligtly, and I'm not sure, but the distance between the bridge of the nose and the corner of the eye looks a little deep, but I'm just nitpicking.

May I say it's REALLY refreshing to see a female model that isn't a physiological impossiblity, and that doesn't scream "I'm socially insecure and have no idea what a female actually looks like!" More ass and more boobs not required
