MPEG support would be great, smaller file size, virtually same quality!

YUP!

Read this(From lee's diary):
Quote: "Added a new entity called the Story Zone which allows you to drop in an AVI animation anywhere in your game, and as many as you want. It also loads dynamically so the animations are not memory resident."

Could you create a way to be a camera basically (like a UFO veiw) to create a camera and use a capture card to make the movies? Just have the 'actors' programed and change the veiws and edit?

What's the best thing you can say in this space?

So this means I will be able to throw in some cheesy FMV's featuring me and my friends trying to act? Schaweet!

One thing to look forward to:

Yeah I'm so happy! I asked this question to the team in an email, took a week to answer and the answer was dull and pointless it was "find out more information about this sort of thing at the forum *link*".

I was one unhappy bunny.
But now I'm happy again!

Lee added it to BETA 12 but it will not work until BETA 13! Ha! The fun of Beta testing. It will allow you to play a video file or show an image file (and also play a wav or ogg file while the video or image is being displayed).

Seen my new video yet? I'm proud of it

@Shigidy: There are a few ways that I know of. Pre-rendered movies, full motion videos or stop-motion.
