Can you make another one when ever you are not busy showing a cut scene! Just so you know, I am really good with machinematics. But this is something I would like to see.

I liked the vid. The physics are actually impressing me a tol. I REALLY want to see some bigger objects move. Like a castle gate that falls when shot, or a bridge that has planks you can walk across and then knock off to keep people from crossing! That would be sweet!

What's the best thing you can say in this space?

Graucus - to be honest, with all that is going on here at the moment - you may have to build something like that for yourself With the physics properties panel in the IDE it shouldn't take long.

A great many people think they are thinking when they are really rearranging their prejudices.

sweet video! totally kick @$$ ! For that awesome thing to only take five minutes to make, I wonder how long it'll take to build my game? Probably six hours at the most.(if I don't take any breaks)

...you don't want me messing with programming. I just conceptualize and hope for others to do it. I know a little about programming and have very little patience for it. I'm an artist and a musician, but no programmer. I've 'syntax error' more times than Hugh Hefner has....well...you know.

I just have a question just in case noone has asked about it before, but can the tree-crates be destroyed? I mean, it looks strange that they don't get smashed to pieces when hit by a rocket.
But damn it looks nice.

Looks great! Thanks to TGC for taking the time & keeping us updated!

Question regarding FPSC after watching video 3.

At 6 seconds into the video, the center window is shot/broken, but the two adjacent windows also break.

Shouldn't they remain intact, or does the physics engine treat them all as one since they are the same material (glass) on the same wall, or is the physics engine factoring the caliber of the weapon fired (bazooka) and the shockwave it creates?

KLU 007: Any object can be destroyed, it depends on their preferences. zero strength will = indistructable.

xified: The windows explode because Aiko sees me and throws a bomb my way, so all three windows blow out. I can also set the strength of windows to zero and then they will not shatter!

Wow! I totally missed that. I should have caught that the bazooka did not fire as there was no recoil. Thanks for following up.

I didnt like video 3. It looked very slow to me, but I guess fraps is slowing down the engine...
But it was nothing wrong with the video itself. If we just courld see this action a little bit faster it wourld have looked so cool!

The new vid was okay. But it basically showed what we've already seen in the other 2 videos. But it was done in a great way. Shows how fast you can make a good FPS.

@Mr Love: Gutt att veta att det finns fler svenskar än jag som är intresserade av FPS Creator.

I thought everyone knew what the Story Zone was by now but for those who have missed details elswhere its exactly what it sounds like.

Its a zone marker that can be placed anywhere in your game. At start - in game level or effectively between levels - by utilising a little ingenuity.

With an area marked as a Story Zone area you can call up a various audio video media to aid your games Story telling so for instance you can call up sound, image, effectively text and video which when called will freeze the gameplay while the media is displayed at full screen resolution before returning you to your game.

For me - perhaps the best new feature of FPSC V1.

Tjaba Roger Wilco!

Sorry for the swedish off-topicness, people.

Translators are very overrated, anyways, me and Mr. Love just shared some of our ideas and talked about FPSC, nothng special. We have no plans to hack into ChrisB's computer to get the beta. No, not at all. ;P

Even if you tried, you wouldnt be able to. See, my comp is protected by a program that will jam your connection if you have dialup, and if you use broadband, it sends an electric pulse throught the lines so your computer dies.
