Headless Jackyl,

Sorry, but I agree with thinkdigital. Your last post is still not specific enough. Think of a more thorough way to explain your need. Do you mean border, as in the outside walls of the maze, only? Or, do you mean the walls, all of them, in general?

Are you needing to know how to code the characters to move around the maze, or how to graphically create the maze? If you need to create the maze walls(image), I would draw the whole thing in some paint program, maybe. Then, you could program the virtual boundaries, which are the walls, into the program(which is a whole other story).

Assuming you are using a 600x400 resolution full screen - this can easily be changed

Open paint and set the canvas size to 600x400 then simply fill it black and draw a border box (just the lines, no fill) around the outside of the canvas in paint. Leave some space on the outside though.

Save it, and then load it in DBP:

VERY basic, but thats the start

I haven't done one for Darkbasic but I have done a pacman like game in Quickbasic (a long time ago). The attached file is the media I used. It's a very small picture but if you zoom in on it you'll see the basic building blocks for each level. I suggest you make new graphics of course.

Here's a picture of what a put together image looks like with those blocks. I used to use Autodesk Animator to draw all graphics (this is a page from the pacman file).
