I'm trying to make a Ruby/Sapphire GBA-style Pokemon game. But I don't have a helluva clue of how to code it. I know that DarkBasic has the power to do it. And a little blue bird told me a site that is absolute heaven for makers of Pokemon games. But I need some help! Any ideas?

Flame Trainer,

Yes, start small. Have you programmed anything in DarkBasic, or in any other language? If not, try programming a PONG game, first. Go from there. You must first learn the basics, before you can move on. Elsewise, you will never be able to create this game.

Just a little, quick and helpful advice from, I should say, from all of us here in the forums.

yeh i agree with NanoBrain

You have to be very accomplished to attempt a game of this scale as its an RPG for a start and that means alot of data vars types and menus, as well as all the media entailed - a lot of pokemon

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. However, my lousy brother just quit the game project, so I'm gonna need some more help - maybe some team members. Anyone interested?

Also, I wanna ask you NanoBrain, how do you put pictures in your signature? I tried to put an animated gif in it but all that came up was the URL.
