the game is still not finished but i've decided to put my game over here as "finished multiplayer"

type your Login(as game nick) and password

login without spaces, max chars: 15
password:without spaces, without big digits max chars:15



controls/keys:
Mouse Move - camera rotation + player rotation
A/S/D/W keys - movement
E - NPC talk (nothing there yet)
TAB - fight mode (works outside the city only)
Left mouse click - Hand to Hand fight (only when fight mode are ON)
O key - shows who is online
ENTER - chat mode (close chat when empty msg)

*auto running outside the city
*auto walking inside the city

In-chat mode:
ENTER - when the chat is empty, u closing it
CTRL + Backspace - to erase ALL from the chat window

types:
/where - to c your X/Y/Z positions
/fps - your FPS
/who - who is online
/mouse show - to c the mouse
/mouse hide - to hide the mouse and back to game mode..



if you will get big ping, the server will kick u automatically.

year after year the only mmorpg annocment we usally get is a nub(n00b) that thinks its so easy, and soon gets flamed out. well my friends. This is Amazing.

yeah i played it, but then i got near someone and a popup window thing came up, at first i didnt know if that person was just a computer guy, but next time i played it the guy wasnt there, so i dont know who it was, maybe i didnt get registered or something

fixed the connection problems now, (its not easy to make 2 servers running in same computer lol)

i got only 15KB/s of uploading speed, sry.. it must b too low connection or something
or u got a fire wall, try to disable it

I downloaded it but alot of files werent there i took some from the first download you gave but i still missing some files or a least one. I know one file i am missing is player fight mode.x can you make a download for the files i am missing

I download it again and it ran to the game but then i got a runtime error.

well thx for all the game tests, i guess the situation is no soo bad (for the server)
half of you guys can join to the game and the others got a trouble with the connection (low ping) but everyone has joined to my "login server" wich one is the start menu (where u includ your login and password).. so i guess i will have to fix the multiplayer a lil bit and make a "ping" feture, so i have to close the server until the new updates =]

thx for tests.
ill close the server for now.

Well, I just tested it with you, and I must say I am very impressed. It was a lot more than I expected, and I'll definately test future versions with you whenever I have time.

While I don't think this is capable of being a MMORPG(as Tempest isn't designed for that kind of thing) it is for sure going to be a very fun MORPG. And who knows, in the future I may help you making it work on a larger scale.

MMORPG = Massively Multiplayer Online RolePlaying Game. The Massively part usually refers to the fact that MMORPGs can have hundreds or thousands of players on the same server at a time.

With Darkbasic's native commands yes, but there are other plugins available which i'm sure take the restriction away for how many connections are possible.

ok guys, and what if ill use 2 game servers for the game?
one server for the 1st 100 ppls, and the secund server for the others? and send data between 2 programs, its realy easy..

That wouldn't increase the limit at all. Unless you mean on seperate machines on seperate connections.

GogetaX seems to be having trouble with your Plug-in benjamin. We can't see each other in Online and he appears opn the player-list as ???? although he has probably already told you this
