I made this for a practical joke to play on anyone who is already having trouble with their computer.
To get the program REBORUN.EXE (its required to get the full effect) you can go here http://jthz.com/puter/ and click on the "Shutz2000 On Run" download link.

just change the locations and place this compiled program in someone's startup folder. when they start their computer up, they should get a black screen, then an error message, and then their computer should restart.

btw this was made in DBC

Haha.. that's so funny.. NOT... Why would you even post this? How is this a darkbasic program when pretty much all it does is call up another file to reboot your computer?

It's not funny, it's stupid.. Something that would restart my computer everytime i started it up would really piss me off. Though I'm not a mod here, if i was this would be deleted quickly.

Why dont you go make a real program?

WindowsXP Home(Service pack 2), Athlon XP 2400+(2.1Ghz), 1GIG Ram, Ati Radeon 9800Pro 128MB.

Although I don't have a problem with you doing the pop-up message and scareing the person, I do have a problem with you posting a program that shutsdown their computer in an endless loop.

For anyone dumb enough to fall for this, to stop it, you must boot into Safe Mode ( press F8 on the Windows boot screen ), then get rid of the file from the start-up folder.
Also, if the person who installed the program is smart enough to get into your registry, you need to go to;
Run >> msconfig >> Startup Tab, then un-check the program in that list. Apply, and it'll be right

Newbie, I'm slapping you for a day.

Locked.
