sub-d = suddivision, its a tool 3D programs you to smooth the object and increase the polies

why's it lob-sided?

my gripes are;
the unecessary sharpness of it, you can spend more polies than you are doing.
it has no crotch
in its current state, it'd turn into a mess of spikes and weird shapes if you tried to use bones to animate it

I don't have a sig, live with it.

I'm using Gamespace light and it has a limit to the amount of polies you can use in a scene. I have downloaded wings3d but haven't used it before.

I can't use bone animation because i'm using DBC and i don't think it supports it. How can i animate without bones???

make each part as a limb instead of a whole object and animate the limbs by moving them

Well its a shame you can't use it, but I'd say you could use it as practice

make each limb a seperate object, I'd use gamespace light to animate, so you the move each object/limb for each frame to imitate a walking like movement, animation like this is seen in some oldish games, like GTA 3, FF7 and so on

average player model is near 1000 polys.

to convert .wings to .3ds all you do is..

export object as.. .3ds
then name it.

I feel just terrible about it
That's sarcasm, let it burn

Thanks RPGamer probably just beginners luck
And thanks Frozen Flame did what you said and it work

I have tried the method Seppuku said to do to be able to animate it and load it in DBC.

I have done the head but not positioned it and also the thighs.
C&C welcome especially on proportion and the positioning off the limbs.

Cheers
