for 3d modeling would a RADEON 9250 be a fairly good card because i am looking in the 100-150 usd price range

from what I've seen on the internet, and I know a 3D modeller who I think uses one, but I will need to see its speck, it can't be any worse than my current card (which i'm replacing with a ATI RADEON 9600)

well if your doing generally lowpoly modelling like 50k polys or less then you wont really need a decent gfx card, im currently using my radeon 7000 and its fine for modelling/skinning but playing games is to be desired :p.
