any help appreciated

thanks

kRx,

I do not know much about animating models in DBC, but I do know that DBC does not handle mesh deformations. Instead, you must use limbs. When you create the object, each part of the model that has to move, in relation to the main sector of the body, has to be made as a seperate object. However, every object can be exported together as one model. Then, each object will be a connected limb within DBC.

This is not a well explaination, due to myself having problems with models and DBC.

i dont really understand that, do u have to model individual parts of a body and asnimate the seperatly? if so then how would they all work togather in DBC? *confused*

thanks

mesh deformations - when some of the verts move and some of them don't

basically iirc with dbc you have to model everything seperately, but I haven't used dbc in a while, i use pro

amd athlon xp 2600+,1280mb,FX 5200 128mb,200gb,xp pro sp2

ei, long time havnt bin here in forum well krx im using 3ds max 6 i do hav the sam problem and if u want to animate your model with the bone structute in 3ds well dont mirror the objects that you've made, that will causes the random movements... and another option in preventing does f*&!ng random movements is to follow nanobrains words of wisdom,... i know it's hard but thats the way it is !!!!
