Hi!

I made a small techdemo:

Download:

I am very interested to know your config (CPU&GFX) and the framerate

I tried to download it, but the zip was corrupt...

Will try again now, though

The zip worked for me, the only problem I had with this techdemo was that it wouldn't run because Mono compiled it with an older version of DirectX that this work machine doesn't have.

So why is yours so much faster, Jess? I have a faster AMD CPU, and the same graphics card.

My MoBo is a rather nice Asus model.

Hi!

Big Thanx for your configs & fps (and your friendly comments ).

For the records:
AMD1200+
RADEON 9600
~170 frames

P4 3Ghz
RADEON 9800 Pro
210-250 frames

@BatVink:
No, there is no use of memblocks, it's the wonderful world of sprites
Slower Framerate: maybe a driverproblem?

@Torrey:
Try this:
http://www.monos-co.de/d3dx9_24.zip
copy it to the dir with the demo.

A nice round 100 fps for me.

AMD Athlon XP 2000+
512MB
MSI GeForce4 Ti4600 (128MB)
XP Home SP2

Quite surprised at BatVink and Jess's frame rate - is a FX 5200 such a bad card?

Like Dom, I get a cryptic missing DLL error message.

Strange...

I have 1GB Ram... Maybe that's it?

Spooky,
I've always been happy with my frame rates... Should they be higher? ( I'm not too good with the Hardware side of things anymore, I'm out of date )
