Hi guys !

I want to post my one level demo soon but all i need to finish this are 2 little scripts.
first , i need a sound zone which does play the sound each time you walk into the zone. standart is that the sound is only once played.

and the more important script...i got this corpse entity and i want it to disappear if the player walks into a triggerzone. i tried and tried but i dont get it. please help
if i get this, i will upload my level ( all sounds custom , some custom textures and a very very scary athmosphere )

Script #1


For this one...place the sound zone where you want it, then right click and select this script as the main script for it

Script #2

for this one, give the corpse this code, then put your trigger zone where you want it, then put the name of the corpse in the ifused section of the trigger zone

thanks for your replay, but both scipts aren`t working.
When i attach the sound script to the sound zone , the first milisecond of the sound is looped when i am in the zone,...and when i walk out of the zone , the whole sound is played once.
To the corpse...
I put this code into the corpse behavior and typed "corpseb" ( thats the entity name ) into the if used section. But nothing happens !
why ?

The script for the SoundZone:



The script for the TriggerZone (to activate the corpse):



Type the name of the corpse in the IF USED field of the TriggerZone.

The script for the corpse:



This is the normal "fadecorpse" script which is in the scriptbank/destroy folder.

The only thing i changed is that i added the condition "activated=1".

You have to use this as a Main script not as a Destroy script.

Yeah ! I compiled it yesterday with full lightmapping ( sadly when done this, flickering lights arent working ). Now im looking for a server where i can upload it. its aroudn 50megs. My university only gave me 10mb Webspace....damn them ^^
