How does the server thing work? Do you need to get your own dedicated server to host the games; or can people host them themselves (and if so how will other people be able to join games)?

They host them them selves. When a server is created, it is aded to a list that shows up when some one starts the EXE and clicks on join.

Formerly I was CDBGames, and formerly to that i was Duke Nukem, and even more formerly to that
I was Punk Rock 101. Got it?
