Personally I would be happy for them to fight each other so I can create a war scene

No - you cant have any characters of any kind to fight on the players side. Currently and that means V1 - it does not really fit in with the remit for the aim of the product. Which is First Person Shooter in its strictest sense as seen by the developers.

There must be a way, just have them face an enemy and keep facing them and have them attack. There must be a way.

Perhaps you could make a fake battle, just for the ambient.
Could be done with static character entities, but they are just animated to fire... at nothing... they stand there and fire...
This way you can think about a lot of men with different animations.
But of course, nobody dies... they are "actors"...

Good idea, Rik Vargard. Just like in Call of Duty: Finest Hour. I think it is the first level. There are ppl shoot at eachother and certain people dieing. There are also loops of ppl running places. This can be done. A lot of games do this.

i personally dont need true allies as much as the actors mentioned above. for my WW2 game (see my site on my sig) i want soldiers at the tip of the trenches, firing across the battlefield. if someone could figure out to have them face in one way, and fire somewhat eratically (not just constant shooting, like in bursts) it would be awesome.

Why do today what you could have someone else do?

Have it so u walk in a room, set off a trigger zone, make a good guy shoot. A bad guy is right in line with the good guy. The bad guys heath is set to 1. Then script when the bad guy dies, good guy stops shooting.

very good idea, jordan sidall. that would create some cool scenes. Imagine- you open a door and see a friendly blow up 8 nazis with a rocket.

im sure doing such a trigger wouldnt be impossible.

Or SarusX you keep it more realistic and don't use a rocket launcher in a building! The rebounds from an smg are enough to worry about...

Er, Americans I prefer to shoot them in games

Consideration for implimentation by TGC has been requested and added under Group/Team communications to the long list of tasks for consideration.

uman's always the voice of reason.

a rocket could too be fired in a building.... i meant a very big building... like a warehouse... or an airplane hanger... yeah that it.

Evil Inside... evil never wins, not because good is more powerful, but that there are too many good people. I add my vote to the good.

To All, enemy bullets don't hurt enemys, that is why u need rockets. Only explosions hurt enemys.

No offense, but defending the offender of an offensive comment to another offender is offensive (If you read most of my posts, you may realise this is my favourite emoticon).
