Hello Folks!
After a brief lack of absence I'm back on this forum with an upcoming brand new game! And a new website, too, with all of my Freeware games available for you!

This new game is a Freeware complete side-scroller!
download here: (zip file about 5 Mb)

http://www.maskedbear.com

Features:
- 4 complete levels
- 8 weapons (with the devastating Ring fire! you'll see it!)
- Big,Big,Big Bad Boss
- Tons of enemies
- All ships are 3D models in action in a side-scroller!

Enjoy!
Alex

Reminds me of R-Type for sega, all it's missing was the music whilst you play the game...

Overall it was a good game to play, keep up the good work

Thanks guys!
I took inspiration mostly from old Team17's Project-X for Amiga (does someone remember it?) and from R-Type, too!

Have someone finished the game beating level 4 final big boss ?

Awesome game!!! But Power-ups like shields were a bit sparce whill I got one of everything else imeieatly. How big are the levels? Does it say when you start a new one? If so then mybe you should split up the levels a bit, because those were HUGE!!! And were there any life bonuses? If so I couldn't find them, and I really could have used one. But those are very small complaints, and the game runs and plays and looks awesome.

The levels are a bit long (more than 4 minutes of continuous play), but if you collect enough weapons you should be able to finish the first 2 ones (especially in easy difficulty mode) without big problems. 3rd and 4th levels are shorter but huge!
You get 1 bonus for 10 destroyed enemies.
There are no life bonuses, instead of them when you activate the shield you get an energy bonus (about 35%)

It was very good. Those torpedoes were evil though. They go straight through your shield, took a long time to defeat it. Once again well done on making it. I think the level four flamethrower was my favorite weapon.
