Darkness was all he ever knew. Darkness in blue, red, deep red. Deep blue. Small movements, somehow, a feeling, not too distant, not too close, but a feeling, small movements.
The collection of general consciousness, sure, he knew that, but only by feeling. Not seeing, feeling. Deep red, blue, patchy, swirling, A cloud perhaps.
Time really plays no part, but then the only part you ever knew. One moment stretches into another, he knew that, but the time of change? Change? He didnt know that. For him, there was no change, just red, blue, deep blue. Deep red.
A shell to the ear, that what he heard, but he didnt know it was a shell. To him, it was nothing, but, like time, everything. He had never cared to listen to closely, because listening was nothing.

Nothing was before, now, beyond.

Time, deep red, blue. Deep blue.

Light.

Faint at first, Deep red, deep blue. Red, Blue.

White.

A knife of light, cutting the deep, scything the dark, reached in. Reached in and touched him, careful not to wake the others. Just him.

Reached in just for him.

Deep red. Deep blue.

As quick as it came it was gone.

He hadnt known any different, but now he saw difference. He knew red, blue, deep, werent alone.

White had been here.

White had touched him.

Chosen him.

He waited on the light, the only light he had ever known, the only light that had ever been.

He waited, because light will always come back.

Reached in just for him.

This is my vision of this story.

What do you think?

Does anyone else want to try to model it? Its a cool idea.

Have a go!!

C&C welcome.

Looks alittle blurry and maybe alittle low quality maybe more antialiasing will make it look better. Good anyways good luck

Note to mod who erased my sig: John Hand**** is not inappropriate hes actually a famous American who signed The declaration of independence. His name usually means a signature

I agree I can see that you don't have osa on for whatever reason, usualy you turn it on for a final render. Also it looks like the jpeg is on low quality for your first post.
If I was making that personally I would have made the claw more ghostlike, maybe use halos to make it look sorta misty.
Also, you say it reached in just for him, yet you show other claws grabbing the little balls. Just a thought.

Explain to me why some people pay money for 3d software? Its not 3d till its been blended. wwww.blender3d.org

yes, it is a little blurry, i did the specifically. I think it enhances the focal point. DOF.

The anti-aliasing was another issue altogether. I dont have the best system so i cant render massive amounts, so it was a bit hard for me to put much OSA on. On top of that, some of the filters i added in GIMP made the edges satnd out a lot, so that also accounts for the jaggies.

The light is the thing that reached in for him, but its a good point. The claws may look too friendly at the moment

Thanks for the responses
