I'm 33.

Been programming for longer than most of you were just a glint in the milkman's eye.

(except easily confused, who is a year older)

Well, I am the oldest of the lot of you - 44!!!

Although in programming years I am a noob, only took it up last year as a hobby (and to try and write some games for my kids).

So if anyone needs some fatherly advice...... Just speak up though, going a bit deaf!

hehee... well to be honest, you can't really have been programming longer than some of us considering most languages are only like 20-25years old

unless you were working on those old machines you ran about yanking handles and it could just about do 1 + 1 = 3 (working on Bills First OS ofcourse )

Thank God for that, for one horrible moment I thought I was going to be the oldest one here.

2*ahem* ... widowed and happily courting around (^_^)

however i think you're 2kids is actually a particial disadvantage - hehee no doubt they're at that age where you wish they didn't ask so many questions or throw up so much ... i want mine to come out like 8 then have a few years with them and then they cacoon at like 13 so i don't have to put up with the teenages years, next time they appear they have jobs and are responsible (ahh if only for the perfect world )

seriously though, i look forward to having some real kids sometime - just think my age is a tad young (^_^)
