Yes, a .ogg is a music file. And no, you can not play them in DB. Sorry. Your best bet is getting a free converter to change the .ogg file to a .mp3

Yah i know. But a 64k ogg sounds awesome, and the file is also small. A 64k mp3 sounds ugly, and big.

The expansion pack for DB Pro adds OGG support. So it's not even in standard DB Pro.

You could probably play them with the Bass.dll if you have the enhanced version of DBC.

A DLL was my thought as well, don't know where you'll find such a DLL to do this sort of thing though

and MIDI's from my experience are bad, they sound different on different sound cards, some people's sound cards may have a sound like a constant electrical sparking all the way though

Best bet is a DLL - failing that, an MP3 converter

...maybe one day I'll finish a project

midi - sux
ogg is not related to midi.
Ogg is a sound format, like mp3, but it has AWESOME compression, much better than mp3.

As the above have said, you really need to either get a DLL for this, or a converter, and compress the size down at the same time.

Really not much else anyone can offer about this, sorry.
