I have just this morning recieved my boxed version and it does not come with a printed manual instead its a "Getting started guide" which guides users through making a game.

i just got mine too
the manual is on the disk, and i cant find anywhere the instructions on how to import my own models and textures.
if i was a noob to this and saw it in the shop i would assume it was another 3d game creator. i still like it , just still cant import my own models in to it.

Search the Models & Media forum I'm sure someone has posted something on that subject.

The "Getting started guide" is more use than a manual at the moment, because you can bet that FPSC will go through a few changes etc making a printed manual become out of date pretty quickly.

Guys,
If you want a printed manual, take the PDF to Kinko's or any print service and have them make one for you. It's about $10.

Well said SoulMan. Printed manual cost a lot to print and they are heavy to ship. Kinko's is the best bet.

yer ill have to do the same, im sure my school will reisle if i printed out all 105 pages of the manual, and theyve only got a black and white one, but it is a laser printer. um. or my clour ink jet. Um........ i think ill stick to the skl, quicker and cheaper lol
