When i load my .x model and start program he is black.Can anyone tell me why is this happening?

because it doesnt have a texture applied to it, in your 3d modelling program if you apply a texture or even a materiel with a good enough diffuse colour then it should appear in dbp with the texture/colour.

Mmm.. a lots of reasons can made taht...
- look the faces of your model..
- texture them.. and put the texture bit map in the same directory of your model ( use 8 bit for name of texture)
- in X format the textures load automatic.

Yes,i tried.

I use milkshape and materials to texture it.

Here is model.

Convert him to .x file and tell me in which color is he.

Firstly, nice looking model....
That problem of it looking dark, well, it's something to do with the textures, 'cause i imported it in 3dsmax and it was all dark, as if it's texture was so. As i added another texture, it cleared up, so check that texture of yours, or maybe if the settings of the textures self-ilumination was too low, dunno if that is so in MilkShape as i've never seen it.

i cranked it open in lithunwrap and your textures were way low on the shiny side....

I put a quick texture on the wings and ran it through dbp and everything was fine....

you should retexture it....
