FPSC Classic Product Chat / Prefab Selections Disappear in v1

Am I forgetting this from the EA version? I select several Prefabs and build them into a level. After I run a test, they are no longer in the Prefab list. (The segments thye create are still in the segments list.) Is this a bug or has it always worked this way?
