i got the skybox surrounding my matrix i textured it but you can see where each corner is it doesnt look realistic is there a way to make it look round.when you texture a skybox does it always texture each of the 4 sides and when i scroll the texture so it appears that the sky is moving left to right the corners scroll around to,please help.

if you want different textures you'll need 5 different objects... you can just use plains for that
you textures will have to match very well, otherwise you'll have problems with that
you might cut some panorama-photo in 4 parts
if its not possible to make these corners unvisible you might better use a box with filleted (=rounded) edges (which is cut into multiple parts as well)

you can indeed use that but that's heavier... you can make skyboxes without being able to see it is a box (like in CS)

turn off the shading of the skybox and so it is not affected by light, then you're all set

so i can make a skybox have a realistic look to it but when i scroll the texture the corner lines will always scroll across as well and how do you turn off the shading

OK, you just need to find the right texture so its seemless at the corners. To turn off the shading, look into the SET OBJECT command, and toggle the AMBIENT LIGHT option.
