I hope it is ok to post this here. I thought since we have alot of game making hobbyists here, some might be interested in another new product recently released called RPG Maker XP. It is available at downloads.com. Price $60.00USD. Another great storytelling tool.

Ultimately, this is a game maker hobbyist forum. The nice thing about forums is that nobody has a gun to your head forcing you to read the posts. So, if you don't like something that is posted, feel free to move on to something else and get over it.

The product I posted about is in no way, shape, or form a competitor to FPSC or any other TGC product. It was simply information sharing.

I think I've been around long enough not to be labeled a "noob". Creating the first FPSC fan-site moved me out of that league--I would hope Besides, I honestly don't give a rat's a$$ what chrisB or anyone else thinks about the post. Anastasi, creating something isn't as much as maintaining it... I too am behind in maintainance, and will have to take time to update...

True enough, however, fpscreators.com belongs to someone else now and has for quite some time so the "maintenance" is out of my control.

There's just so damn much whining and complaining that goes on in here. I don't know why some people just can't get over themselves and ignore what they don't want to read or what they feel "doesn't fit". At least I can say I've contributed to the community--on more than one occasion.

Actually, I don't think I'll be slapped or banned. After reviewing the AUP, I find only 10 rules for TGC forum usage, none of which have been even remotely violated by my original post.

To be slapped or banned by a mod would in and of itself be a violation of the AUP, since it would be unethical to "punish" someone for a rule or guideline that does not exist in print.



On second thought, I'm going to slap myself. *SLAPS SELF* Why are we even having this discussion!?! Jesus people, it was just a piece of information. You may or may not find it interested, helpful, or otherwise pertinent. Who gives a flying flip either way?!?

Well... once apon a time ago... I was bored, so I changed my name to flamebait... I replied to a topic that Linux was better then windows XP because of faults in NET that will eventaully mount up and cause the whole windows platfourm to crash down, and Indi slapped me because he didn't like my dissenting opinion about windows... but the problem is that most other platforums don't support the programs that are made for windows, so I'm stuck with XP as is (besides the fact that I don't have the drivers for Linux...)

Well look what happend to Terminator (I think e's called Dory The Cable Guy now)! He got banned for posting just a little out of the rules.
