Hi there!
Since I have updated DBPro & experienced many DBO file problems, I've created a new DBO converter tool that will convert your .x files into .dbo files.

THE RULES:
Copy the program in the folder that contains the .x files & run it.
It will convert ALL the .x files into .dbo files.
Once the conversion terminated you'l find in the same directory the .x & .dbo files.

Hope this will help some of you as it helped me!

Imprvements & comments welcome.
When I'll have some more time, I'll try to create a user-friendly interface...

Here the link:
ONLY FOR THE DBP 5.8 & Higher!

Updated: V. 1.02

DISCLAIMER: Please, take care to have a back-up of your .x files in order to prevent data loss if program fails.
This shouldn't happen... but... we never know.

why is this a copy of your thread in dbpro chat? why have you chosen to place it in two places? isn't one thread enough?

if you want to have to threads in different places, please do not copy the exact text from one tyhread to another - it like deja vu for us

stick to one thread per program and if you don't want in dbpro chat then ask a mod (nicely) to move it for you

Is it using the SAVE OBJECT to convert?

IanG Double post was not intentional. But I guess it's quite not dramatic.

I was writing the text in the program announcements & I decided to put it in DBPro section, but instead of deleting it, seems that I posted it..

The function load the object, checks if it can be played & save it as a DBO using the Save object function, then it loads the model again & checks again (internally) if it can be played correctly.

... HAAAARRGGG... have to mention that is ONLY for the 5.8 & higher!!!

ohh thats ok then - everyone makes mistakes, im sorry about my previous little rant, but double posting annoys me and it is amazing how many people do it on purpose just to get attention

Seen as you seem to have intended to post this in DBP board, I'll lock this thread... If you want it the other way round, email me, or any of the other mods, and it's easily changed
