hello using dbpro.
I was wondering if someone could start me off on how to ad water to my game. I am a begginer to programming. so far i have built sevral nice maps and learned how to use tga files but i do not have any idea where to start with water. I would greatly greatly appreciate anyones help thank you so much.

2 main ways you can do this
A.) create a plain surface, texture it with water texture maybe ghost it to make it transparent. Probably have to position it, and rotate it. Shouldn't be too hard. You COULD also Scroll the texture to give it a moving effect.

B.) use another matrix and do a algarithm to make it change height in parts to create an effect of water moving, example in it in the surf type demo. Dunno if DB Pro has that demo...

I recommend using "A.)"
I havn't used DBP so i cannot do the code for ye but those two design theory's should help
