How do you create moving platforms and switches activated by weight?

you would have to model and animate them your self...then just use the romote door script to activate it...

or i think you can do something with lifts...but youll have to ask merranvo

TGC should add to the Fpsc map editor menu the 'ask Merranvo' option...

waypoints..... OOHHHH! Thats it! Get a square object, set its script o follow, set waypoints... Thank you Sunflash!

Oh, and good luck in your eternal campaign for a Redwall game.

EDIT: Ok, Im confused. I took a table (thought it would eb best for a platform) and set its script to follow. i created a waypoint system, and tested it. the object didnt move. so, i made it not static, and it just fell the the ground. how do i make it just go back and forth?

well, you can set the thing to Down/Up or Up/Down but you need to modify a bit the script "lift1" or "lift2"

alright, i got the lift to work as a moving platforms (thanks you two). is there a way i can make it remote-activated? so you find a switch to activate a platform so you can cross a previously impossible gap.
