You may have to wait until the server has completely loaded before attempting to join.

And you would know? Yes, you would. Are you using the Disk or DL verson. Cause if your using the DL, that may be your issue. Uninstall (back up files first) then install the disk verson.

The reason it doesn't work is because FPSC uses IPV6. Which most computers have no idea what the heck it is. (IPV6 is the new IP format.)

If you type in the IP adress you want to connect to directly it'll work. Remember also, that anyone behind a router will almost always be unable to host a game.

Okay I'm not rick or anything, but before anyone can join, the host has to have the game fully loaded and have joind the map.

Two things.

1. Its correct to say that the host has to be fully loaded and that your server (host) has to have firewall permissions granted to act as a server known to the firewall before the joiner attempts to connect.

2. Some objects that should not be used in MP games (apparently) but which FPSC does not disable the user from inserting in MP games will prevent a joiner doing so and return the waiting to join error. Teleporters being a point in case. I had them and could not bypass waiting to join - removing them fixes the problem. If you have them in an MP level they may cause that error message. Lifts on the other hand do not seem to cause the error and neither do health packs. No idea what a Teleporter might have to do with waiting to join but there you have it. I guess there could be other entities too which could generate the error I just dont know.
