Hello all.

as some of you know im among the current 3d artist for the game "Blackout" One of the things the game lacked was a human model. So i attempted at one (This is my first attempt), but i want it to look reasonably good and lowpoly.. So here it is, please comment on it and point out any errors ive made or things that just dont look right .

Please comment .
Thanks

the legs should be twice the size of the torso(pelvis to shoulders) that should give you the correct proportions of your legs

first thing i noticed was the hands. very.. flat.

but the legs, BenDStraw is right.
if u sit down and bring ur knee to your chin ull see that part is the length of ur chest. needs to be double size.

The green are just suggestions on the design of it, but the blue are actual problems I've spotted. If you're going for lower poly, lose the vertical bulge on the fingers - and an index finger doesn't hurt (when the character is holding a weapon, a seperate index finger comes in handy for puressing the trigger).

A microphone could be done with about 6 pollies, by the way.

Torso looks too square.

i like the torso, i think it shows the "bulkiness" of the armor he's wearing, i think the legs could ne a tad longer, and maybe add some nifty accessories (like what snipa masta said) but other wise this is ten times better than whatever i could do

Wow thanks for the feed back guys!

Ok here are the few things ive done.

1. Remodeled the hand (It now has lowpoly fingers).
2. Reshaped the mask a little.
3. Made the legs longer.

@Snipa Masta, Ok ill take in your ideas to my model tomorrow, its getting late now..

Again please comment

but he looks good with long legs also..

bravo! I dont know why people are being so specific, but bravo! If you could texture it it may come out decent. If you texture it wrong though it will look like a banana split:S.
