Well, I posted this in the wrong community, let me apologise first-off for that.

Basically, I need a character for my game. I need a male character, about 50 by 90 pixels. a little above or below will be acceptable, I'll just be greatful to get anything at all!

Well, I just need like, a red tunic, covered by a black cloak, or small jacket.

Please, by all means, be creative.

Well, thank you in advance, if you'd like info on the game, just post and ask.

Oh, and by the way, I would like a full walking animation, as basic as you wish, and compatable with DBC.

Also, if you do help, I'll be sure to give you full credit.
And remember I don't need a complicated one, just a basic walking animation.

I'd do it myself, but I'm not a good artist in anything.

Thanks in advance,
But if no one helps (likely) then thanks any way.

haha ok thats really funny man... september fools to you too!!

i forgot who said this but this is what your asking...

"could you like, wash, wax and detail my car? outside and inside? yea could you install this sound system? when i try and take it out for a spin ill be sure to tell everyone how good of a job you did"

basically what im saying is that giving credit as the only reward for making a character for you is the only reason im the only post you have on this topic right now. plus you need reference images at the least... these kinds of posts are laughable, seriously... put some effort in and try to make him yourself...

yeah, I'd say he's a mideival character...erm...I'm not sure that I've got any basic images to base off...

well whoever 'oddmind' is....jeez, I mean really....I CANNOT DRAW!! IF THERE'S NO POSSIBLE WAY THAT I'D BE ABLE TO DRAW IT THEN I'M NOT GOING TO WASTE MY TIME SCREWING IT UP! And also, if someone does the character design, that goes in the bleeping credits!! So yea, giving credit is logical! And it's not anything like your retarded example.

Eh, this always happens though...you try to get help with a game and all you get is ridicule...I hate the whole bleepin' world for being like that. Sorry for inconveniencing those who went out of their precious way to see this post and then realized that it was complete rubbish. If I wasted your precious time, I apologize, but If all I'm going to get is ridicule for NEEDING help, then screw it...

do you have like a screen shot of a game character. like mabey from final fantasy or age of empires or another game where this character is mabey roughly what you want.
i need to know if it's cartoony or realistic or what.
mabey you could google it. it would help a lot.

well, what I need is a sort of realistic, in the sense that it's not a ridiculous cartoon...It's not like I need such shading that it's like he's three-dimensional.

I really don't have anything to base it off...sorry if this is aggravating, but I just can't draw

Well, I think I should specify the preferable height...erm, I dunno, maybe ninety pixels.

yea, he's supposed to be mideival...and you don't need to worry about any animating...I'll just do that. Asking for this much is too much already...if only I could draw...

Sorry if my specifications still were not enough

you still didn't choose a picture?? because you didn't choose a picture or describe your character it's gonna be VERY hard to change what i have now.
here's what i did anyway;
this is cell shaded;

this is normal render;

here are the sprite sheets;

Quote: "that goes in the bleeping credits!!"

Not to be rude or anything, but if you browsed the forums for maybe...two days before posting this, you'd realize that the credits dont mean much, as nobody reads them. Heck refer to my post in the Game Design Theory where I offered a spot in the credits to Aven Madisen:
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=63480&b=19

Now, if you intend to sell this game commercially, there is a way to justly compensate. You can give him a copy of the game and a small cut of the profits, say 5-15%. Just a few pointers to help you avoid gettin flamed in the future.

EDIT:
Oh yeah, and even if you don't have any drawing skills(i can relate to that...kinda) you can always browse the internet, or even breifly describe the overall look of the character(i.e. clothing style, hair style, body form, proportions, etc.)

If you stand not beside me, then I assume you to be my enemy.
