Does anyone know where you can get some good tutorials on the internet for intermediate programmers. The only kinds I can find are about variables or how to texture a matrix.

By the way, the Huge Dungeon tutorial in the DBpro tutorials page works with DBC too.

Yes, but I would like to learn how to make a more sophisticated fps besides the monster hunt game. I would like to learn how to make an fps inside a building and stuff. I have been able to make a dungeon type thing with a 3d designer (DeleD Lite), but I don't know how to make a character walk around in it. I also can't find any good free 3d models to use as the character. It is pretty east to find monster models, but not human models. I have already read all the tutorials in the tgc webpage. I am looking for tutorials on other webpages.

you need to learn how to make your own monster hunt game before you can get more advanced, if you can`t figure out the walking around bit then you didn`t understand what the monster hunt program was doing, inside a building or outside, whats the difference?, position a huge box over the monster hunt scene and you are inside an acropolis style structure, replace the pillars with wall sections and you are inside a building, understand how the code stops you going through the floor and you can work out how to climb ramps and stand on top of objects, start simple, add to it.

we know where area 51 is, but where are areas 1 to 50?, and what do they do there?.

there's a great demo of walking on a .x landscape in teh code snippets. Thats where you need to go if you're usin a 3d model, plus the code is very easy to build on. It uses the awesome DBCollisions dll, which is awesome for everything else.

Theres a bit of a bug in it where you can go thru walls if u strafe and walk at same time at rite angle, just change the collisions radius to 11 and it fixes it . Just use the code for your camera for your bots and they'll be fine on it too.

Good luck
