The FADE OBJECT command help file states: "This
technique can also be used with a ghosted object to slowly fade an object until completely invisible." I would have hoped that by setting the FADE OBJECT to 100 when used in conjunction with GHOST OBJECT would result in the equivalent of no ghosting....however, this is not the case. There appears to be no way to significantly reduce the amount of ghosting.

Yes I've encountered this as well. I don't know if it's a bug but it is annoying as I haven't seen a way yet to thoroughly fade an object from solid to transparent.

I'm not a real programmer but I play one with DBPro!

Unfortunately, "alpha mapping on" does not allow you to see through the object. An object behind the faded object is obscurred. This does not happen with ghosting.

In upgrade 5.9 with alpha mapping in use I can see through the object and see the box behind it.
