Dark basic pro needs direct x 8.1 or higher, right?
Right.
Only, I only have 8.0, and when I downloaded the install from microsoft.com, It couldn't get a connection to download the rest of the files it needed.

Does anyone have an install file from a CD or something? Otherwise, I can't use DBPro or play DBPro games.
It's a Selecta.

It's included on nearly all PC games magazines cover CDs (or DVDs).

I'll just steal a cover CD from MattyCarr_UK, then download the pro demo.

It's a Selecta.

Just a warning, don't get 9.0 if you wish ever to go lower. You can't uninstall it which is a pain.
