First off, I'de like to say I'm a huge supporter of The Game Creators, and already have purchased DBPro. After messing around with it, I felt I needed to get a bit more programming experience before I dive in and try to actually make a game, so right now it's collecting some dust. Anyway, I'm been following FPS creator's progress, and have tried out the trial. I just had a few questions before making the purchase. (yes, I read the FAQ =))

1. Is .X the only 3d object format supported?

2. How good is net code? With the max amount of players, will it be horribly laggy? (Given that everyone is on a Broadband connection and have sufficient hardware requierments to run the game)

3. Can the GUI be edited/Changed?

4. Does FPSC support any pixel/vertex shading, bump mapping, etc.?

5. Is there any sort of advanced hit detection? (ex: Headshots do more damage, with enough damage bodies explode instead of just falling over, etc)

6. Are any other multiplayer modes planned? (CTF, team DM, etc)

Thanks, and I look forward to your replies!

1:I think you can use anything DBP supports, so no.
2:Mmm, no, I don't think so.
3:Not realy
4:bump maooing, yes. Pixle shading... Its REALY buggy
5:Not at the moment
6:In the near near future, nope. But hopefully by V2 there should be some expanson of MP.

I may not be good in school, may not hae had a girl for a while, ma not had a social life in years, BUT I"M STILL THE ONLY ONE IN SCHOOL WHO KNOWS HOW TO MAKE GAMES!!!

Ok, thanks for the info!

Just one other thing...Chris, if you happen to see this message, can you please make me a normal forum user? It's a bit frustrating to have to wait a day every time I post, just for it to come up. I would appreciate it! Thanks!
