this didn`t happen previously, you used to be able to draw outside of a defined bitmap and all that happened was the draw did not get done, now it just crashes silently back to the editor, no "out of bounds" error message or anything, just crashes, the same goes for circles that go off the edge of the bitmap etc, and while we are on the subject how come "dot" needs more time to execute than line?, maybe you should pass the dot parameters to the line function for now? (hows that for a quick hacky fix), code showing this crash follows, it draws a line on bitmap 1 that will crash the program the instant it goes beyong 200,200 (the position of the text)
set text opaque
create bitmap 1,200,200
set current bitmap 1
for i=1 to 300
dot i,i
set current bitmap 0
copy bitmap 1,0
text 200,200,"I is currently:>"+str$(i)
wait 10
sync
set current bitmap 1
next i
why do they say Aliens are gonna be friendly?, surely the agressive ones wipe out the peaceloving ones, so all you have left out there are crazed flesh eating interstellar monsters.
