does bryce make hieghtmaps for terrain?my freind got a full version free with a mag and siad i could have it, is it anygood for db pro or not?

yes apparently you can use it to make height maps for advanced terrain.

Yeah, that's what Bryce is famed for - terrain and heightmaps.

Do be do bedoop bedoop boop boop...

I use Bryce to generate heightmaps, but more importantly to render colour maps. Like just press one of the number keys (not sure which) and it'll set the camera to a top down view - render this at a decent quality and chop out a great colour map for your terrain. Make it square, rotate it 90 degrees to the left, and your jammin.

You should be able to find Bryce4 for free, it was supplied on a coverdisk a while back.
