I want to learn how to make quality character models like this



dose anyone know of were I can find some great tutorals on modeling stuff like this.

By the way if you think Im a noob at modeling Im not I just never had any luck with character models

Well your not going to create that off the bat.
It takes quite a long time of practise and patience to get to that sort of level of skill, even with talent.

I don't know of any tutorials for stuff that good.
I'd just suggest tinkering and playing.

Also hang out around Polycount.com (message boards)

lol, well modelling like that isn't too difficult, the hard bit is the texturing.

I agree with Seppuku Arts , about the modelling , i can model something like these but the texturing work is amazing in this model and i think that this is what make it such a good model .
anyway if want to start modeling i suggest that you start reading tutorials , the best program to start modeling at is milkshape , ive started with Milshape and now im working with maya , get milkshape ... and its got some sweet tutorial named CS girl modeling wich is a great step by step to a complete character ,.
well not like the one u post but perfectly good for noobs . cheack it out at www.milkshape3d.com , start to learn the modeling process and then decide if u want to learn more to reach these high level of texturing and modeling

Press the "Make a quality character" button in Max, it pumps out high quality character models right before your eyes.
