Once the changes are made to DBPro's core to allow this stuff, it'll most likely get carried over to FPSC - there's no reason why 'not' so fingers crossed.

Hopefully the changes Lee has planned will increase performance on the current shaders too.

Cool. My models would greatly benefit from some of the new shaders available.
