This is a product request.

I, and I believe many others would be willing to purchase detailed tutorials on all topics relating to FPSC.
You guys have a real winner here.
The only missing piece is a detailed manual, a 400+ page kind of thing.

I work in publishing and know this would be no small project, but I think many users would be happy to spend money for this sort of book/pdf, as well as contribute to the text itself.

Your thoughts (and users) on this are very welcome.

Thanks.

A book would be helpful, but I don't think it should be a high priority right now, my oppinion is wait till V2 comes out.
But I'm all for a book.

Kinda cool idea, but brings back those vivid memories of your granny purcashing \"code in C++ in 24 hours\" books and you look at it and think christ, how long did it take to read the bible?

They only cover pascal in the bible
It's true that priority for now is enhancing the engine and editor, but that isn't to say that if someone wrote a tutorial book that it wouldn't be considered.

The Beginner's Guide to Dark Basic for example was developed completely autonomously from TGC.

Now that would work, I just wouldn't want TGC to drain their time on a book when they could spend time on the engine, not now anyways. But if it was someone else that wrote it, that might work.

I'll work on some of this when I get back from vacation.

I ALWAYS have flame proof jacket...just in case...and a shotgun. If you want any, just ask!

We are all nice, except for that one who's name starts in a m and ends in erranvo.
