Hey proof my dad went insane - he bought me a fully liscensed stand-alone version of 3DS Max 7, and well I was wondering if anyone had any suggested tutorials for it like the basics of the interface to basic character modelling, I've googeled some but I was wondering if there were any recomended ones out there.

im sure the manual would cover the basics of the interface, and clearly you dont know howto use google

look in thte manual - iirc there is a tutorial manual from the help menu

Buy 3D world magazine they always have tutorials, in the UK its £6 but I think its a wee bit more in the US.


But here is a great Max tutorial site (as well as C4D, Zbrush etc.)

start with 3dsmax manual cover the basics , and then get into 3dtotal , loads of 3dsmax tutorials that are great , i used lots of them when i just started to learn maya
