How would I place the gun in the token FPS place ( bottom right corner)? I'm thinking placing an object in that position and making and deleting it and making a mesh out of it and hiding it then connecting the gun to that mesh, but I have no damn idea as of how to do it.

Haven't read half of what you said that i got lost. My way of placing the gun... load the object (gun), move the camera/object around as to fit in the view as i'd like (bottom right left or wherever), now i check xyz and angle of the camera and object, see hows the offset of the object regarding the camera, and then , every time one moves the camera, the position of the object and it's angle will change as the cameras position and angle + its offset.
Quite a weird way i think, but it helped me when i had just started programing in a 3d world. Still, there is sure to be a better/simplier way...

On your 3d editor (3dmax/maya/lightwave/whatever...) create a camera and position it with all axis to 0 (rotation too), then set your viewport to that camera. Then position the gun til you're satisfied, then export. At dbpro, simply position and rotate the object (gun) exactly like the camera. (position object id,camera position x(),camera position y(),camera position z(): set object to camera orientation id)
Works fine to me...

All projects have been cancelled due to some important matters (darn it!) but "The mask of Zorah" is still continued...

that would be cool if i had a 3d editor. My characters are nothing but spheres rendered in dBPro and the gun is a darkMATTER model.

the tutorial on how to make on fps comes with dbpro. You can get the code from there. You may have to compensate for the size of your gun.

That tutorial stinks. Listen everyone, I am making an FPS tutorial right now that will show how to make a level editor for games, have pickups, start screen, multiple levels, gun movement, and realistic AI with physics and collision detection all in DBPro.
