2D All the way! / FFTA Visuals in dBPro

I was wondering how exactly to do Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced visuals in dBPro? The game's sprites and textures are 2d, but the game's battlefield maps are treckable (if that is a real word) in 3 dimensions. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction with this?

Actually, it is all 2D.
The battlefield is 2D too. What happens is that when you ask somebody to go left for instance, it just changes the forward sprite into the go-left sprite. There is no 3D involved.
