Hi y'all!
I got bored so I decided to fire up FPSC. I am currently designing a 30 level game. So I started a new level but I'm too tired at this moment in time to make a massive level so I made a basic square platform. The level was kind of meant to be a bowling game.
BUT a physics bug
inspired me to run this compo!
The bowling area had been set up, the player in posistion and all physics accurately set. I decided as part of a mini storyline to have robot that walked round the bowling area using waypoints (RETCHED THINGS!) And of course the robot entity didnt follow the waypoint CORRECTLY even though the correct scripts were laid in.
I just gave up with it and messed around and placed a whole load of falling crates just to muck things up!
Turns out - the physics engine has gone BONKERS and sends the player for no reason off the edge. (Not immediately, try walking into the side of one) and I have created a platform up above with like 5 crates on it.
SO this is where you come in. DOWNLOAD the attached FPI file.
Give the game a storyline, give it a name and come up with interesting ideas for it.
I have made the fpi public cos its just a rubbishy old one and im not gonna use it in my game anyway.
Have fun!
P.S The winner gets the joy and memories of being part of this community! (I Know, Im cheapo and cant afford decent prizes)
Note: After file is downloaded, rename it and get rid of the ".zip" part. This is apparently FPSC protecting it
