None of you has seen similarities between FPSC and Game Studio? They have both a level editor, scripting, entities system, path system, decals, etc.. Has Lee been inspired? GameStudio is more 'precise' and can do other things than FPS but FPSC is more user-friendly.

Why don't you compare it with unreal?
It is a first person shooter with its own level editor...

There are several authoring systems besides Game Studio, and most of them have the features you mentioned above.

I own a copy of both - FPSC and Game Studio, but I would never compare the systems because they are too different.

But you can compare its output (the game itself), lights, shaders, ...
Can you say A is better than B from this comparsion?
I say you can't. Because you compare the creative team behind the games, their ideas, their skills, etc.

Both systems are able to produce ugly games or brilliant games. It depends on YOU
